Structural features and applications of crossed roller slewing bearings

The cross roller slewing bearing is a common structural form of the slewing bearing. It consists of inner and outer rings, which are connected by cross rollers in the middle. This structure can withstand large radial force, axial force and overturning force, while having high rotational accuracy and rigidity. Since the contact area between the ball and the raceway is small, when a large load is applied, the contact stress of the ball is likely to be too large, resulting in damage to the ball. Therefore, the cross-roller slewing bearing needs to pay attention to the size and direction of the load to ensure its normal operation.

Cross roller slewing bearing features: good rigidity, stable structure; anti-permanent deformation; not easy to lose precision; uniform heavy load and overturning moment.

The classic model 1797/3230 series is widely used in stacker reclaimer bearings and bucket wheel bearings.

This bearing is with inner dia 3230mm, outer dia 4050mm, height 240mm with 112 rollers cross placed in the raceway. It is with strong design and is a classic model for bucket wheel stacker reclaimer.
